Learn-to-Earn in 2026: What Happened to Coinbase Learn & Earn

What a bank would do — and what you do instead

A bank might give you a sign-up bonus once. Learn-to-earn programs pay small amounts of crypto to people who learn about or try a project — a marketing cost for the project, a small reward for you. They are a low-stakes way to try new networks, as long as you never risk real savings or your seed phrase to claim a few dollars.

What changed

The original Learn & Earn paid small amounts of a token for watching short lessons and answering questions. Coinbase Wallet Quests instead reward actions such as swapping, minting or staking. Some quests require you to pay gas, so the net reward can be very small.
